Here’s an idea.
Invicta FM (and all local radio stations) should just be given just ONE copy of a record, on vinyl. That way when the bastards have played Leona Lewis, Amy Crackhouse or Mika to death, their only copy will become so worn out that they’ll have to find something else to play, and Daniel Powter won’t have the most played record of the last five years. Eventually they might play something that’s not utter shite. Though probably not.
Better yet, make them have cassettes so if they really really want to play something again, they’ll have to rewind the bugger each time.
“More music variety” my arse. What, like playing the same 20 songs in a different order plus a smattering of eighties hits?
